big fan of demonpact clarice, im glad to get a new experience made by you,,,, i ahtet hsis game so much. i lovr it and i love hgames likje these please keep upthe greta wrok
Hey! I finished 0.0.9.7 and I just wanted to give some of my thoughts so far:
My initial impression is that it has a strong beginning. The writing is obviously crass which goes well with the jerkass protagonist and the special animations make it stand out from your typical RPGmaker game.
It goes full-throttle from the very start with little to no fluff, but it makes me wonder if your average player will get fatigued from too many battles in a row the longer you play the game. In my (unprofessional) opinion, it would be good to balance the pacing with a few moments of rest, so that it doesn't become too repetitive.
Just like with Demonpact: Clarice, it seems like this game will have an ever increasing amount of recruitable party members and that's another unique selling point that should be taken advantage of. In a way, it reminds me of the Fire Emblem series and its large cast of playable characters.
As a side-note, my first playthrough was without the hint system and it wasn't too bad, but as it turns out in my second playthrough, learning about the Blue and Yellow affinity was crucial to making the fights a lot easier. I would say that the intel character is actually very helpful to not only newbies, but for any player who has never played the game, because she explains important mechanics that aren't told to you otherwise.
I'm assuming the sections mid-way through the sewer and the mansion are still under development, so I won't comment on those parts yet.
Oh yeah, and I despise Ronaldo's taste in music. Sorry. It's the same type of music that my neighbour blasts through our thin walls and I've developed an irrational hatred towards that genre now.
Anyways, I think that's all for my ramblings, I look forward to the full release!
hi slider!!! im very thankful for your input! i took everything in consideration while working on the project, the new version came out today
i have a few ideas for gags and minigames and longer story cutscenes that will happen right on the area that is currently unfinished (mansion), since i think thats when the player is juuuuuust getting bored of the game
and yes i love having characters to choose from and having several possible teams to build, making your team possibly different from other players' and allowing expressiveness
the blue-yellow thing is indeed VERY important, and right now, if intel isnt helping you, jennyfer will teach the player instead. i strongly agree with you on that one.
the stupid song ronaldo plays was made by me and leoriostar in just about 20 mins. , it has my voice and his instrumentals. im really happy that you hate it hahahahah
